1. Feast this week: Monday, August 11th – St. Clare; Thursday, August – St. Maximillian Kolbe & Friday, August 15th – Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

2. Today, we celebrated Vianney Sunday. Collections from all Masses will be sent to the Clergy Home for sick and retired priests.

3. August 15 is a day of obligation being the feast of the Assumption of Our Lady. Masses are 7, 8 & 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Flag hosting will be done, near the Grotto after the 7:00 am Mass. All are encouraged to join.

4. Next Sunday, August 17th we celebrate PRISON MINISTRY SUNDAY in our diocese. We will be inaugurating a Prison Ministry Cell in our parish at the 9 am mass. The volunteers will be making a collection after all masses, those who wish to donate or even offer their services may approach the volunteers in the church compound.

5. Johannian Stalwarts Senior Citizens are organizing a fellowship evening on Thursday, 21st August from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Entry passes will be available from Tuesday onwards at the Parish office for Rs 50/-.

6. SVP will make their monthly collection in the church compound after all masses.
