Notices - 22nd February 2026 - First Sunday of Lent

1. The IRD and Environment cell are having an Environment campaign. Parishioners are kindly requested to donate old, clean bedsheets in good condition for distribution to the needy on Sunday, February 22nd. Eco-friendly bags will also be sold at reasonable rates as part of this initiative. 

2. Tomorrow/ Today, Sunday, February 22nd, there will be a sale of religious books by the Pauline Sisters in the church compound. We encourage all parishioners to kindly patronize the same and enrich their spiritual reading.

3. Pre-Baptism course will be held on Saturday, 28th February and Sunday, 1st March. Couples are kindly requested to register at the parish office by Friday, February 27th.

4. We sincerely thank the community members of Zone One for volunteering and assisting in the Lenten Social Outreach. It was truly a grace-filled experience for all involved. In the second week, Zone Two will carry forward this ministry of service on Saturday, February 28th, from 11am to 2 pm at the Baptist Hall. 

5. The Archdiocesan Women’s Commission of the Archdiocese of Bombay invites all men, women, and youth of our parish to the International Women’s Day celebration on 1st March at 8:45 am at Canossa School, Mahim. Those interested are requested to contact the Parish Office for registration.

6. As part of our Lenten spiritual initiatives, the parish will be organizing a Pilgrimage to Khandala on March 3rd, to the RC Church and the House of Prayer. Parishioners who wish to participate are kindly requested to register their names at the Parish Office. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration amount is ₹200. Last date to register is February 28th. 

7. The Women’s Cell of our parish will be celebrating Women’s Day with Women’s Tele games on March 8th in the School Hall. All women are encouraged to participate and are requested to register with your Zonal Coordinator. Men who are willing to assist in organizing this event are requested to contact the Parish Office.

8. The Parish Pastoral Council Election Committee wishes to inform any former SCC animator who has had a break of four or more years and desires to offer themselves for service once again may kindly submit their nomination to stand for the PPC election on or before 7th March. The elections to the new Parish Pastoral Council will commence in the Easter Season.
