Feasts this week: Wednesday, December 3rd – Solemnity of St. Francis Xavier

1. The parish Women Cell will be putting up Christmas Decoration Stall at the Church compound.  Kindly patronize. 

2. Holy half-hour will be conducted on Friday, December 05th from 7:00 to 7:30 pm. St. Dominic Savio Community, Chimatpada will assist in the same.

3. The Johannian Youth will have a catechesis on Sunday, December 7th in the church after the evening Mass on the theme of – UNDERSTANDING SIN to help prepare for their Advent Confessions. All our parish youth and the PYAT are invited.

4. The Annual Thanksgiving Mass of the St. Francis Xavier Community, Takpada, will be celebrated on Sunday, December 7th at 5:30 pm in the church, followed by a get-together at the Baptist Hall, JWC.

5. The Johannian Youth will be holding a paper and scrap metal drive as part of their ADVENT SEVA on December 7th and 14th. We encourage our parishioners to support this initiative, as all proceeds will help fund the youth activities throughout the year.

6. The Johannian Youth will hold their ADVENT NIGHT VIGIL on Wednesday, December 10th, from 8 pm onwards. It will be a grace-filled evening with an exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, enriching catechesis, and confessions. We invite all our parish youth and PYAT members to join this time of prayer and fellowship. 

7. Annual Subscription for the Examiner Rs. 1100/- will be accepted at the parish office. The last date for renewal/new subscription is December 16th. 

8. The Bible Diary 2026 priced at ₹250/- is available in the Parish Office on a first-come-first-served basis. Kindly avail of the same. 

9. The Centre for Social Action is conducting its annual Advent Campaign against Hunger and Disease. Envelopes have been placed near the altar collection box; you may drop your contributions there.
